Poor Bru IDP lady had improved her family living condition through Tailoring. Mrs Sitarung Meska D/O Endro Meska -20yr is one of the Bru displaced persons living in Ashapara relief camp since last 17 yrs. Her father had passed away in the year 2006 when she was 14 years old. As she was the eldest child in the family, she had to shoulder all the responsibility, challenges and problems of their family to feed her Mother who is having the suckling baby, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Due to such circumstances she had to drop her education after class-V standard and worked whatever works she got to earn money for their family livelihood. When she was at the age of 18 years due to the compelling situation she got marry with Lalrama Apeto of Ashapara. Even after she got married she had to work every day to earn money in the nearby local area for their family. But, fortunately, she was selected by the JUST Field Office Staffs for training on Tailoring at Naisingpara from August to October, 2013. After completion of the training course she purchased one Tailoring Machine on installment basis from Kanchanpur in November, 2013. Then started stitching at home and earn approximately Rs.300/- to 400/- every day by stitching 5 to 6 pieces of Shirts, etc. Their family living condition has quite improved now and when Project Coordinator Mr Bruno Msha visited her house she and her husband thanked to him with smile for getting an opportunity to learn Tailoring and will be extending all possible help from their end for the welfare of JUST organization if needed.
