Jana Unnayan Samiti Tripura is a Social development wing of the Diocese of Agartala working towards integrated development for all irrespective of caste, ethnic groups, and religion with special focus on poor and marginalized, in the spirit of love and service. It's mission - to empower the poor and the marginalized through dialogue, mutual trust and peoples organization towards integral human development . It envisions a self sustaining, peaceful and just society based on Gospel values. A society, which ensures full and abundant life for all: socially, economically, culturally, politically and spiritually.


Agartala Diocese believes that social development is the result of continuous change in the various social relationships and processes as well as natural and physical changes occurring in the environment in which man lives. It calls for careful participation in this process using the available knowledge - both scientific and empirical in order to harness the fruits of change towards integral social development.


During it's long journey on the path of social development, JUST has undertaken many programs for upliftment of the under privileged and the needy, in the State of Tripura .
