Fr. Lathees S, Director JUST

We are in the 30th year of our existence to serve the people of Tripura. I am happy to be part of its journey for the past 6 years.  Every year, every month, every day begins with new guidelines, new fear, new challenges, and new problems. Lot of sincerity is expected to be maintained, not in heart but in paper to prove. Accountability has to be proved not with our intention but with our documentation. Besides all these, JUST moves on with its commitment to serve the people of Tripura.  Single Headed Women are the latest group joining in our beneficiary list. 262 people have registered under JUST and 3 groups are formed among them. We are helping them in their confidence building, and economic development. They have started taking leadership among themselves.  One of our SHGs got a Solar Dryer from the government department for their income generation activities. Yes, there is still hope besides all speculations. I acknowledge all the help received from different corners for JUST to reach where it is. We will continue to travel together with all our benefactors, beneficiaries and all the stakeholders to reach new heights.

Silver bells ring for JUST as it completes its official journey of 25 years in serving the people of Tripura. I am happy to be part of its journey. Every Jubilee explains the challenges, success, and the people who were behind all this. JUST started its journey officially on 28th November 1997. But lot of ground work was done from 1948 for its smooth beginning in 1997. Without any infrastructure it started its journey. Now it has got an office of its own and a system of its own. There are many SHGs and Farmers Club under its umbrella. As it travels towards the Golden Jubilee, JUST is planning to increase the number of its SHGs and Farmers Club. It is also planning to create Neighbourocracy and Children Parliament. It also aims to work on the Creation our ONLY HOME. We continue to rely on everyone’s support to make our society a better place for everyone.
